Welcome to the SOCS (Study of Outcome in Childhood Stroke) Website.
The Study of Outcome of Childhood Stroke is a research project funded by The Stroke Association and co-ordinated at the Institute of Child Life and Health, University of Bristol.
The aim of the study is to investigate the epidemiology of stroke in children and to research children's outcome following stroke. The study has been granted multi-site ethical approval by the National Research Ethics Service and the study aims to start recruiting participants in June 2008.
